About the project

The Client is a financial operations platform that automates and centralizes accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliation. It offers AI-powered workflows, multiple payment options, and integration with popular accounting software to help businesses streamline operations and improve cash flow.You will build the backend of a complex project, which includes structure, design, and API endpoints to be used by the frontend team.

You’ll be joining us in the development of a truly unique B2B late payment technology, supporting small, medium, and public companies. We’re looking for someone ambitious to come and own setting up Kolleno growth function – working directly with experienced team who have worked at large international corporates (i.e. Expedia.com, Goldman Sachs).

Some of the stuff we use: poetry for package manager, black for code formatting, flake8 for syntax checks, Google commenting style, use of Type hints, implementation of numerous APIs with Oauth protocol, CI/CD with CircleCI. And we have a strong automated tests culture.

What you need for this position

  • 3+ years programming experience with Python;
  • Strong understanding of APIs (web services);
  • Experience with Django REST framework;
  • AWS experience is a nice to have, but we’re happy to help you with learning it on the job;
  • Good understanding of Agile concepts; 
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English for communication with UK-based colleagues.

  • Identify & propose improvements to get towards technological excellence;
  • Develop solutions using Python language and related technologies; 
  • Learn and apply cutting-edge technologies;
