PropTech Denmark Meetup: Axon’s Insights from Participation

This month, our Business Development Manager, Anna Chernysh, had the opportunity to attend the PropTech Denmark Meetup, where industry leaders gathered to talk about the future of real estate technology.

Anna got a close look at the latest trends, new tech, and challenges in the PropTech world. From innovative solutions to sustainability-driven demands, the event gave us a clearer picture of how software can help drive change in real estate.

What’s Next for Real Estate Tech?

Anna: PropTech Denmark member meetups are networking events aimed at connecting real estate professionals, tech innovators, and startups. These meetups focus on sharing knowledge, exploring trends, and fostering collaboration within the PropTech community, offering workshops, panels, and discussions on industry innovations.

What were the key topics or trends discussed at the Meetup?

Anna: At the meetup the members were mostly discussing their ongoing projects, presented their new ventures, ideas and shared their plans with each other. The managing team of PropTech Denmark is interested in bringing people together and digitalizing the sector so these key aspects were the main goal of the meetup: get to know each other, seek potential collaborations. We also just chatted about our personal goals and roadmaps and life in general, which was refreshing.

What interesting solutions or innovations were presented?

Anna: There was not much official presentation going on, so it’s hard to say anything specific about any given company but there were lots of people with very interesting projects and solutions.

Just one of many would be Airlich. They deliver sustainable and environmentally-friendly HVAC solutions that improve indoor air quality, reduce energy costs, and lower a building's overall carbon footprint. Shout out to Jalen Bigej for working on such a cool project together with Rasmus Jølck. Such projects really move the industry forward!

What software needs or challenges in the real estate industry were most discussed?

Anna: There’s definitely a need for property management optimization and digitalization - that’s for sure and any new entrepreneur or big real estate company understands it now, which is great. Currently there are trends and needs that are global now: how to build a sustainable business, energy consumption and optimization, business operations optimization, smart building technology solutions, tenant experience and so much more. And all of these can be covered by smart software, isn’t it great? But it’s not an easy thing to incorporate for everyone.

How did participants react to Axon’s PropTech expertise?

Anna: I was excited to share Axon’s strong background in software development and technology solutions. Participants appreciated our focus on developing data-driven platforms for property management, automated controls, and predictive maintenance. There was also strong interest in our efforts to optimize energy efficiency and integrate renewable energy sources for more sustainable practices.

Also, our expertise in IoT and AI was seen as valuable for enhancing building automation and improving tenant experiences, helping to create smarter and more sustainable infrastructure in the future.
