The spread of the coronavirus has impacted every aspect of people's daily lives, especially in business. In a state, where all government bodies have protective protocols and emergency work modes, companies must be able to quickly react to such situations to ensure the continuation of work. This is done using remote work in order to ensure the health safety of all their employees, as well as maintain the performance of business tasks.

Companies around the world have closed their offices and moved their employees to remote work from home to try to stem the outbreak of Covid-19.

To organize remote work from home in the proper way, it’s important to maintain a vibrant culture in a remote work environment and utilize the tools that are able to make remote work convenient for each team member.

Axon’s team manages all working processes and stores the data in the cloud, which allows us to move from the office to the remote work model that was easy for us.

We have collected the list of tools for remote work that will be useful for every business in these trying times. Work utilizing these programs has been tested by us using our personal perspective for years, so we can confidently recommend them to you.

These tools will tangibly simplify the work of your team not only when working remotely but in the normal mode too.

1. Slack

The first thing in remote work is communication. Our company utilizes Slack, the collaboration hub which provides every team member, information, and tools together to get things done. Slack has moved almost the entire working process from mail to messenger.

You can group teams in separate channels or get in touch with each other in private conversations. Only company employees will have access to their chats.

There are several pricing plans suited to companies of different sizes. Free access suggests access to:

  • 10,000 of your team’s most recent messages
  • 10 integrations with other apps like Google Drive, Office 365
  • 1:1 voice and video calls between teammates.

These features will be available at no additional cost to all customers until July 1, 2020.
